Musical Theater Jazz

Ferd Tocal

Ferd Tocol is a versatile dancer and educator with over 25 years of experience across jazz, ballet, musical theatre, and hip hop. His training and career have taken him to New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and internationally, working with top choreographers and creative teams.
Ferd’s performance credits span live stage, television, film, and commercial work, including major brands, concert productions, and feature films. He has appeared in projects for MTV, EA Sports, Coca-Cola, and Panago Pizza, and has danced in films such as Scooby-Doo 2, Dr. Dolittle, and Reefer Madness. He also performed in the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.

Venom

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Mikhail Morris is an international cultural ambassador, professional dance artist, and choreographer with over 20 years of experience. His work spans Dancehall, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Ndombolo, contemporary styles, and Jamaican folklore, bridging African and Caribbean movement with innovation.
Through his artistry, teaching, and cultural consulting, Mikhail is dedicated to preserving tradition, empowering communities, and promoting mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. His work creates spaces rooted in cultural awareness, authenticity, and freedom, while elevating global understanding of Dancehall and African diasporic dance

Lyrical

Andrea Gibson

Andrea Gibson is a psychic medium, dance educator, and founder of The UNCONDITIONAL Movement, with nearly three decades of teaching experience. She blends strong technical training with mental skills development to support dancers both onstage and in life.
Her career highlights include performing as a principal dancer in Scooby-Doo 2 and being named Dance Teacher of the Year by Shine Dance Festival in 2015. Most recently, Andrea was a finalist for the Shine 2.0 Awards for her work in mental wellness within the dance community. Whether teaching or adjudicating, she leads with heart, humour, and honesty, using movement as a powerful tool for connection, resilience, and transformation.

Jazz

Elise Melo

Elise Melo is a dynamic dance educator and mentor with over 20 years of experience in the industry. She is passionate about helping dancers unlock their potential through movement, discipline, mindfulness, and self-belief.
As a performer, Elise has worked with renowned choreographers including Vincent Patterson, Luther Brown, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and Gus Bembery, with television and film credits spanning YTV, Nickelodeon, Apple TV, ABC, and Paramount+. As an educator, she is a sought-after instructor across Canada, having taught at Harbour Dance Centre and contributed to leading programs and conventions such as Groove Street Dance Productions, Street Groove Dance Convention, Plie Prep’s Pure Progression Intensive, and CDTA Dance Jam.

Ballet

Krista Hassen

Krista is a ballet educator with over 27 years of teaching experience. Born in BC, she trained in professional ballet programs across Canada and Montreal, including the National Ballet School of Canada, Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Banff Centre for the Arts, and L’École Supérieure de Danse du Québec.
A Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, Krista has taught throughout BC and Alberta and worked with emerging professional dancers at Ballet BC and Lamondance. Known for her passion, precision, and high technical standards, she encourages strong technique while supporting individual expression in every dancer.

Contemporary

Liz Tookey

Liz is a contemporary dance artist, performer, and choreographer with an international career spanning stage, screen, and musical theatre. Her performance work has taken her around the world, including Princess Cruises, Tokyo DisneySea, and international tours for the Canadian military.
Liz’s credits include musical theatre productions such as Dirty Dancing (North American premiere), Anne of Green Gables, and Spamalot, as well as television and film appearances on Hellcats, Once Upon a Time, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, and Scooby-Doo 2. She has also worked as a choreographer and assistant on projects including So You Think You Can Dance Canada and Reefer Madness, and continues to teach, adjudicate, and coach dancers across Canada.

Heels

Chelsea Seward

Chelsea Seward is a dancer, performer, and educator with over 25 years of experience and international training. Her career spans global stages, national campaigns, and performances with artists including Fifth Harmony, Anne-Marie, Coleman Hell, and Mia Martina. She has toured Canada with The Empire Strips Back and performed internationally as a sought-after backup dancer.
Chelsea is the founder and artistic director of Badass Babes Dance, where she has spent the past 17 years teaching and mentoring adults at every stage of their dance journey, both in person and online worldwide. Passionate about confidence, empowerment, and community, Chelsea continues to create and perform while inspiring others to step fully into their power through movement.

Street Jazz

Treyvin Kinisky

Treyvin Kinisky (he/him) is a dancer and choreographer originally from Grande Prairie, Alberta, now based in Vancouver. A graduate of Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program under the direction of Moe Brody, his training spans ballet, commercial, and street styles, blending strong technique with dynamic performance quality.
Treyvin’s credits include work on Netflix’s Julie and the Phantoms, commercial projects for Hugo Boss and Frontdoor, and international touring with North Star Performing Arts Management across China. He has also contributed as a choreographer and assistant on productions for Netflix and Disney+, and continues to create and perform across stage, screen, and the drag performance community.

Hip Hop

Joanne Pesusich

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Joanne is a dancer, choreographer, and director who has trained and performed internationally, including in Vancouver, New York, and Los Angeles. Her performance career includes work with artists such as The Backstreet Boys, Prince, Kool & the Gang, and appearances alongside Busta Rhymes, Lauryn Hill, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Joanne’s credits span stage, television, and film, with appearances in projects including Scooby-Doo 2, White Chicks, Christmas Chronicles 2, and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. She is the director of The Source Dance Company at Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver, where she focuses on training, performance, and professional development for emerging dancers.

Erika Mayall

Erika is a registered physiotherapist and owner of Allegro Performance + Wellness, a boutique clinic in North Vancouver specializing in the care of dancers and artistic athletes. A former elite dancer, her work focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and optimizing performance.
With specialized training in dance medicine across Australia, Canada, and the United States, Erika is a sought-after educator and speaker within the dance community. She is also the host of The Dance Physio Podcast, where she works to bridge the gap between dance science and the studio.

Salsa Fusion

Melany Rivera

Melany began her dance journey in Panama, training across a wide range of styles from classical technique to urban and street dance. Her performance experience includes work with diverse crews and artists, as well as live tours and music video projects.
Rooted in Latin dance with Salsa at her core, Melany blends traditional foundations with reggaeton and urban movement. Her teaching and choreography are musical, culturally grounded, and performance-driven, with a focus on building confidence, authenticity, and connection through movement.
